What comes to your mind when you walk pass the beautiful greenery and taking a deeper look at a tree?
When working towards a long-term aim or a goal it is possible to feel like giving up along the way. However, if we observe the way a tree grows it will become clear why we should keep persevering.
A tree starts off as a mere seed, so small that it is difficult to envision that it will ever grow into something so impressive. It sprouts tiny roots becoming a seedling only to attain a few leaves very gradually before those leaves multiply gradually and with time it becomes a young tree with blossom.
We can let ourselves feel joy for the leaves of our efforts, but the key is not to stop there. If we do not persevere, we will not get to the stage, we set out to achieve. And as the saying goes: ‘On a fruit tree, the fruit is always the last thing to grow!
