Alhamdulillah we have entered this spiritual journey and I sincerely hope and pray that you are enjoying this blessed month which is packed with spiritual and divine gifts. May Allah swt enlighten your hearts in this beautiful month of Allah (swt)
Here are some profound reflections from Sheikh Mohammad Khalfan for us all to contemplate and revive our spiritual hearts.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Imam al-Kadhim (‘a) is reported to have said:
“Rajab is a great month wherein Allah increases good deeds, and erases evil deeds.”
Although Allah’s Infinite Grace pours down limitlessly on all of us, we can only benefit according to the capacity of our limited receptacles. The Holy Months of Rajab and Sha’ban serve as facilitators to increase our capacities. If we seriously begin cleaning our inner selves from the taints of sin and perform actions of virtue and balance with faith, we can gradually head to a station in which Allah says,
“Neither My earth nor My Heaven can contain Me. However, it is the heart of my faithful servant that can contain Me.”
May Allah make us all successful in this journey. Age does not make a difference. We must seek a firm resolve from the Bestower of Resolve.
