Our heartfelt felicitations to you all on the birth anniversary of Abu Fadhil Al-Abbas a.s. May we follow his path of obedience and love towards Allah swt and to the Imam of our time Al Imam Al Mahdi ajfs.
The Verse of Obedience from chapter 4, verse 59 of the Holy Qur’an reads:
Surah An-Nisa, Verse 59:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
“O you who believe! Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority (uli al-amr) among you.”
This particular verse epitomises the obedience of Mowla Abbas, who has actually implemented this Ayat in his life through his noble and selfless services and he was such a sincere soul towards the Imam of his time Aba Abdillahil Husayn a.s.
We pray that on this auspicious day, Mowla Abbas a.s. grant us an inch of ‘Ita’at’ in obeying our Master Imam Asr Ajtfs Ameen Ya Rabb ❤️.
Ita’at (obedience) in the visage of Abu Fadhil Al-Hazrat Abbas (a.s.)
How can the status of Al Abbas a.s be elucidated?
He is a sea of emotions and feelings.
More than faithfulness, it is Ita’at, and surrenderedness we can learn from him.
Valour, strength, and fortitude are all apart when it comes to the abiding of values of faithfulness and forbearance.
Just imagine a man trained and brought up in the arena of armour and army but silently kills his ego and submits to the will of his Master Ababdillahil Hussain a.s. Creating a new series of cadre for the people of awakened soul to follow till eternity.
Loving ourselves is an inherent nature of self and ‘Nafs’, but killing of one’s lower self – the ‘ego’ is surrender to God, which is True Love for self.
…..true love for the Imam of our Time as well.
May Allah give us an inch of obedience (Ita’a’t, from the Multitude and Mine of Itaat just like Al- Abbas a.s. had for His Beloved.
May Allah bless us immensely with Tawfeeq to follow him as a true helper of Imam Mahdi ajfs and make the heart of our blessed Imam happy by such noble and selfless traits.
